I have just got five.They are a way to fish fly,spinners,lures and bait.
They can handle fast currents, ie the Dee estuary.
Depending on the speed of retrieve,they can be used at different depths,from the surface and down to any depth depending on the speed of retrieve.
they can be used in the sea,in rivers,ponds,lakes and canals.
So it enables fishing at any depth in the water column.
They are popular with sea trout and Pike fishing.
They can be casted long distances,no weights are required.
So,on the days when we are having a blank,maybe we can turn it around
and fish for the midwater species?
It's an easy rig to make up,and avoids weed and snags.
