Thursday/Friday 08 & 09/10 on the water

On Thursday we went down to Llandudno Bay fishing offshore in line with the end of the pier chasing the elusive codling and any big fish, failed on both accounts once again the whiting were hitting anything we put down, the bait we were using was lug, quid, mackerel, sand eels  and whiting.
The sun was shining during the day but it was very cold on the water. On Friday a snowy start by Paddy's house up on the hill, we motor across to Constable Bank in front of the wind turbines same bait same result, it started to ruck up after a couple of hours with the waves looking higher than our boat so we up anchor and made our way back closer to land same result on the fishing just more whiting a bit of a blizzard blew in so it was in the wheelhouse stove on drink tea and eat cornish pasties, although no different variety in the fish being caught it was great being out on the water we both enjoying being out there any fish is a bonus. I have put some scenic pictures on as there are no big fish to show.

It was cold I had 5 layers on and a pair of long johns under my joggers.

We are very pleased with the boat it moves along nicely.

Those handrails on your boat look a good idea that extra freeboard is handy.I've got 6" handrails on mine,they feel much safer.
We fished off the Great Orme near the Cave,got the shock of our lives when two kayakers came out.
We caught 21 doggies in Half an hour.
