Excess sewerage flooding on the Dee. Empty
PostSubject: Excess sewerage flooding on the Dee.   Excess sewerage flooding on the Dee. EmptyThu Aug 04, 2022 2:13 am

Saw it on the news, the Dee is being polluted by excess sewerage overflows when there is heavy rain.
A number of swimmers have been taken ill through swimming in it.
Looks like privatising is not working.
It's also effecting fish.
I noticed when I fished at connahs quay and greenfield, what seemed to be weed on the line and knots was actually fibres from nappies etc.
It also stated that it was causing the alge bloom that we get around Rhyl etc.
