Reports I can find on Deganwy are mostly flounders.

Can be lots of crabs about.

I think it was commented before that Conwy side fishes best on the flood and Deganwy side on the ebb, I fished the twin sisters ( I think that is the right name, named after two upright pillars of rock on the foreshore .) mark on the Great Orme road in Summer approached from the West Shore side via a steep path opposite a wall ( tight to get parked) just before the millionaires row houses start, but I think its more a bass mark than cod but I don't really know much more than that really. Good luck!

Cheers for the info Cool
I didn’t fish Monday but had a look on the Conwy side and took a rod to practice me cast a little
Looked better on the Conwy side and the bank is steeper and you can cast into the middle of the channel fairly easily and past at low and in the centre over high cheers cheers

Think I’ll keep and eye on the tides and fish a medium tide 2up 2down

nice pictures good luck when you fish it, I have fished it a few years ago in summer and the crabs striped the baits in no time had to use peeler crab, but even that was striped in a short time, If you could keep the bait in there are a lot off flounders and in winter further down they get codling but the tide races through when running

I've sent for some 15mm polystyrene balls.
I saw them used to pop the bait up off the bottom to keep it above the crabs.
I've launched at the spot on the pics, and parked the boat on the pontoon.
The sandbanks start further out of the estuary on the same side.
The deepest chanal is on the Deganwy side.
I've been under the bridge and upriver a couple of times it looks very fishy.
I think you can get road access over the bridge on the Conwy side.
Good luck cheers
