Nice to see.I heard they were  getting more prolific in numbers around the British coasts.
So much so that Anglers are coming over from America to fish for them.
John Locker off the Utube vids(Fishlocker) caught two inside a few hours weighing about 450lbs each.
He was fishing between Lizard point and Falmouth.
He said he sees them on a regular basis, and when he can't see them,he hears them jumping out of the water in the distance.
Each Tuna took him about 2hrs to land/boat.
I  was camping down near the Lizard about 5yrs ago,and a guy in a Kayak told us, and showed us on his phone,a big shark, once and a half as long as his Kayak.
Haha,to quote Jaws,"I think we'll need a bigger boat"  lol!

My understanding is you are not yet allowed to target them

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/bluefin-tuna-in-the-uk

However the fishing methods for sharks catch tuna and sharks and tuna may be in the same area.

Recreational anglers must release the fish without landing.
