| After moving inland over Bala way and my great friend and fishing buddie Geoff (Eddie the fly) passed away, I lost interest in sea fishing so sold all the tackle. I have now bought new more tackle and was shocked at the prices I was having to pay so hopefully, I will be back on posting soon and see some of the members on the beaches again if I do I will as always speak good luck every one and stay safe |

| Good luck Congerman! Catch one for Eddie the fly whilst you are at it. I expected a bit of a recession collapse in prices of many things driven by covid but I've been surprised at some things upward prices too, not sure how the economics works but hey ho! Look forward to hearing how you get on _________________ we call it fishing not catching!

| Looking forward to some reports from you again Congerman.
Took my daughter off to university last weekend. Life starting to slow down enough for me to be allowed out fishing, so I am hopeful there will be a few more reports from myself too. |

| Thanks for the replies good luck, I have been out a few times and had schoolie bass and whiting on my continental rods but just purchased another x2 heavier rods for putting larger leads and bigger baits out ,as when fishing in the wind and choppy seas struggled to put baits into the gulley about 70yrds out with the 15 footers as there for 2-4oz leads perfect for scratching on calm days or smooth seas love them |

| Have a look on 'Wish' the prices are a lot lower than here. A lot of the Wish stuff is bought by the Aussies. Braided line costs peanutsĀ |
