Tenby Castle Beach 03/06/21 round 2 & 3

Had a solo early morning before a trip to Folly Farm
Nothing big but still an enjoyable session before breakfast












Fished 1 down 2 up 6am - 8:30am
2 hounds & 1 dog
Think it’s better fishing on the flood and I’ve had better results up to high fishing off the rock by the bandstand on previous years.

Quick breakfast and off to Folly Farm with the family for the day and got Sick on the waltzers

Evening low took the full squad down to the beach see if we could get some action whilst having a game of cricket

My nephew winkled out a Turbot that he was very pleased with





That was it on the kids rods and we sent the kids off to bed whilst
I Continued fishing with me brother in law into the dark to give him a taste of my fishing addiction

Resulting in 4 Hounds and 2 dogs
Landing 2 hounds each biggest landed by my brother in law at 7 1/2 lbs



That was it for Tenby 2021

Took all the family out mackerel bashing the following day

We were down in Pembrokeshire about 3 weeks ago,  there are some great places down there, we didn't fish as it was so windy and we just missed out on seeing Wally the Walrus who had moved on from Tenby.

The pair in this photo were well into Winter fuel payment age, not a kid in sight with them but they were making full use of the beach having their own sandcastle building competition!



Tenby did get a reputation for being a stag and hen do destination but it seemed to once again be a terrific family destination with something for all ages.

They may be looking for a couple of bottles of Pale Ale that the buried  a few years back
