| Just wondering, when I’ve fished Pensarn at low tide there are loads of black lug casts, so why do all of the bait pumpers go down to Prestatyn oh Gronant? Are the worms better quality down there? |

I don't think there is much difference, could be there are more commercial worm diggers in Prestatyn. Although,if you travel down to the right from prestatyn towards the estuary, there are massive shallow mudbanks and the water is very shallow even at high.I've never fancied getting neck deep in the mud |

| I think I am right in saying that the lug beds are exposed across more tidal ranges further East. Not sure if the sand and more importantly what lies beneath it is less amenable at Pensarn.
I'm no expert with the pump though, buying them is far easier.
