After a couple of hours catching pin whiting at broad beach I got on my mark for 2.45am and had thornies on my first 2 casts before the dogs came out to play...had one more ray at the death but the night will be remembered for the massive huss I almost landed before it pulled the hook as I tried to pull it up the rocky ramp....my pb is just short of 12 lb and this thing would have ate it for breakfast....cracking night with no wind or swell....full squid baits were best.Ty Croes 3619d88adff8df5e532399970cb56307Ty Croes 86ef9f62108000cc6508588b858a80a3Ty Croes 7213af927b39c3a4d29c04beb0484e87Ty Croes F6d811d05f787827eb118339d8644539Ty Croes 20faabde20c6bc79c47b4399e0413e28

Nice going Yozzer, well worth the all nighter.
Is it broad beach at Rhosneigr where you were?
I've noticed on other occasions, the rays are there, but the doggies beat them to the bait.

Yeah that`s it...can fish well for thornies and small eyed in Sept/Oct and i`ve seen a few huss out too...just fancied a look for a coalie before hitting the rocks....lovely beach but the dreaded pay n display is in operation until 10pm.

Can't see the reason for parking meters in the middle of march around there.
