| You may have chosen the period just before they get the bit between their teeth to start breeding. I believe the jacks don't bother much,but the big Ladies start feeding up before they breed. You've had a few out of there in the past,so probably just the wrong time. Is that water on the right of the dirt road or the left? I used to race model power boats on the one to the left. I dived in it years ago,and there wasn't a weed anywhere.The bottom was like talcum powder.It changed later,and the weed grew like mad. I've fished off the concrete pipe between the reservoirs,some big Perch down deep. Good luck on your next outing |
