fished the prom again yesterday.fished the ebb from high for a change.Difficult conditions,blustery wind and showers pushing down the river,lots of rubbish with it.Ended up with three codling up to just under 3lb,lost a couple of fish due to snotty weed and plastic jamming the top ring despite using braid straight through.My mate had a couple of whiting,he was using fresh lug while I was using smelly refrozen lug,but plenty of it.Makes you think doesn't it.........cheers

Funny how sometimes its fresh and other times its the smelly stuff that is the only thing they will take.
