Myself Ade Stevo and Mark didn't have any fish today as we braved the elements at Splash Point but we had a laugh and enjoyed the first of the many mince pies we'll be eating between now and Christmas
First of all Stevo was presented with his prize for winning fish of the month.
Then once we'd cast in we got on with the pies
Danny came along shortly afterwards and showed us how it was done
Then Mehmet came along just as we were ready to pack up and I'm told he caught a couple of Whiting too
He told us we were leaving too soon but by now we were wet and cold and besides that the pies had gone so....
Some days it's just good to get out Then get back in again

It can be hard there on a big tide, especially with an on shore wind, we usually do better on the first 2 hours of the ebb on days like that.
