Bad Moon Rising!

Date - 4th October 2009

Gone are the days that you could stroll out to the low water mark at Splash Point to get away from it all.
Tonight it was like Piccadilly Circus!!!!!

I joined Notbad, The Maestro and IanRhyl for a few hours.
Squidward popped down for a chat and Clueless Too was even about.
With Wormy out on Castwatch duties, it really was quite sociable

The Maestro was first in with a small Whiting.

All went quiet for the next 2 hours though!
It had turned into a waiting game.

As darkness fell, I had a good knock that led to nothing.

To my right, Notbad was into a fish.
Another Whiting!

That was it for me.
The fishing was slow but the company was great!

But pretty well what I was asking myself when a slight misunderstanding had me initially walking a mile in the wrong direction and Maestro wasn't answering his mobi! (Hot work in a floatie and waders!)
- I wondered what Wormy was trying to tell me! ( I should get down to Specsavers )

Not much happened after you left Mike. Finished the night on 2 whiting.
Packed up after retreating from the tide and leaving what would have been about my last cast out there, found I'd hooked up on the "mussell feature" and lost the lot. Even so a great way to round off the weekend.
