I had an invite to get out with Lou and Malcolm on his boat yesterday. We all had one of the best days fishing we've ever had, we had none stop action all day. 1st job was to find the macky for fresh bait, we found them when we pushed a bit further out, down went the anchor at the 1st mark and we were straight into dogs, Huss, and rays

Malcom had the 1st run from a tope just minutes after wathching one come up to the surface chasing his bait!

A few more rays and huss came after the tope before we moved closer inshore to try for more tope and bream.

1st tope landed was to Lou

Then i had this on a tiny bit of squid on my spinning rod trying for a bream on a size 8 hook! it gave me a good run around Razz

Not long after i had a proper tope

In a crazy few hours we landed 8 tope

In between the tope action we were also getting some nice pan size bream.

The tope went of the feed but the bream kept us entertained, the others tried a bit of crab and were soon landing smoothies

I stuck with macky and had loads more dogs and decent huss. Come early evening we reluctantly dragged ourselves home. What a day we all had  fish
