I had the morning spare but the forecast wasn't great, breezy westerly winds meant llandudno pier end was the only place I'd have a bit of shelter, it took me a good while to get to the rough ground just off the pier from the launching point at the paddling pool, there was a good chop on but it was fishable, good practice for me!
1st fish was dog(1st of many) but my next bite was a decent one and it turned out to be a little smoothy.

A few more similar sized smoothies hit the deck before the better ones turned up

They went off the feed, then just as the tide slowed down the rays made an appearance

The wind picked up a bit early afternoon so it was time to get back to dry land before I sunk! It was a nice morning out but cut a bit short!

in the Orme,we couldn't believe it. lol!

Brilliant stuff,

Looks a fantastic way to get out there, must be unnerving at times though.

I'll have to pinch your mark dan. Went to llandudno for shelter yesterday and it was just huss after huss with some dabs, whiting and dogs thrown in. Good fish but some more variety would have been nice

No, there's no need Dave, It's got a self draining deck, there's holes that let the water out, sounds posh but it isn't lol!
