Faces to Names Empty
PostSubject: Faces to Names   Faces to Names EmptyThu Mar 09, 2017 6:55 pm

Decided to fish at the Arches at Colwyn Bay yesterday with Stuart Johnson. We were set up and fishing 2 hours before high, and fished through to 2 hours after. To say the fishing was slow would be an understatement. Baits were a variety of frozen fish baits, and both frozen and fresh worm baits, but nothing was working. Stuart decided to change baits, and there was a magnificent site of a Whiting on the end, all 5" of it, but that meant he'd caught, and I'd blanked.
Part way through the session Joker turned up, and called Logger to come down. Well that was the end of the fishing as such, just plenty of nattering n banter. Didn't realise I'd met Joker before, when he had his shop, but had not met Dave, so it was good to put faces to names.
Pity about the fishing, but that's the way it goes, and it's what keeps us going back. Try, try again.
