Sea scorpion.   I'm not sticking my neck out on long or short spines, look horrible and dangerous but quite cute really, think it's the males that have a nice blue colour underneath when in breeding mood.

They are not poisonous just handle gently.

They sometimes bark

Its not either type of Sea Scorpion Rolling Eyes Its a Shanny.

Usually find loads of them on rocky beaches at low water and i used to keep some in a tank.
