 New For 2017

To add a little fun to the Species hunt this year the following will now be accepted:

One small crab under 4 inches across its shell.
One large crab over 4 inches across its shell.
(A tape measure will be required in the picture).

Also;
Hermit crab.
Spider crab.
Octopus.
Squid.
Lobster.
Crayfish.
Cuttlefish.
Starfish.
Shrimp.

All must be hooked not netted.

Fresh water and Salt water species are to be counted on the same list.

Species can be caught from shore or boat.

Waters to be fished can only be in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand Wink

I`ll still enter fish, but not accidental by-catch, you might as well include carrier bags and different types of seaweed.

There's a 5p charge for entering carrier bags in the hunt though

Who gave Logger the idea that NZ should be included in the species hunt? This means that half of my fishing time will be spent either faffing about for minor (small) species, identifying them, and posting the piccies, instead of catching proper fish.
PS How do I resign from the forum?
PPS I supose I could win the NZ section though !
