Another last minute session resulted in 4 of us heading to otterspool last night with me,ian, mark and ben all hoping the cod were biting.
We arrived around 10:00pm expecting a few to be out wetting a line but there was only 3 other people fishing which got us wondering why there wasn't more like the last time we were there.
Ian with his first cast caught this little codling followed by a whiting
Next to catch was me christening my new rod (Vercelli Unabomber) all though you wouldn't think it with this pic
Ben started catching more blank saving whiting
So mark didn't blank I let him bring my next whiting in (it is Christmas after all )
After blanking last week at blackpool mark was desperate to christen his new rod which he did 10 mins later
The fishing was slow but we managed a few more whiting before we packed up at 2:45am
We caught around 25 fish between us which wasn't too bad but we all had a good laugh and me and mark christened are new rods so that's happy days
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
