Another night on the mersey

A few work mate fancied coming sea fishing with
me and ian so with plenty of fish coming out
of the Mersey we headed to the town hall steps
again last night.

The weather forcast wasn't great but we still
decided to give it ago.





Once everyone was set up it didn't take long before
we were catching.  Ben caught his first ever
whiting



And so did mark and andy





The fishing was a little slow at times with the odd dab
being caught between all the whiting





The only cod fell to ian which was just under size and
was put back



Ant couldn't buy a fish for the first few hours but once he
caught his first ever whiting as well he caught 4 fish
with his next 4 cast





and so did everyone else













And it was my new reel first sess which i'm very happy with



Even with the crap weather we still had a laugh and caught a few fish so
happy day

Well done Steve great to catch when it's there first time. It's not good to stand for 2 to 3 hrs on a cold night and catch nothing when it's your first time you don't go again. They all looked well chuffed. It's not like you to catch such small Whiting out of the Mersey.

Well done Steve it`s great to see some newcomers catching, they could get hooked for life after this.
