PostSubject: Sandy Logger and the Seven Blankers    Sun Aug 07, 2016 4:04 pm

Fished Notbad gully this morning in a very strong wind which was blowing the sand around like a desert storm, any stronger and it would have been unfishable Exclamation

Joining me was Stevo Joker Arwel Notbad Mehmet Mark and young Tom fishing

With such great fishermen around me how could we fail Question

Now one doesn't like to blow ones own trumpet but after two fruitless hours of drowning worms with nothing to show for it I managed a nice little Plaice cth

Now I'm far to much of a gentleman to say how the others fared so all I'll say is they all had one less than me rolling laugh

Joe was second when he bagged this catch silent

Hard luck Joe we all thought you were into something good at first What a Face
lol!

Stevo's Dyno rod was looking great too Cool

Not the best session in the world but we thoroughly enjoyed the morning despite the weather  cheers

And to much relief I broke my blanking spell too  cheers   bye

Today was a blast, a sand blast!

with a surf on it looked like a day to expect a Bass

Mehmet and I persevered for a couple of hours after you left but without a bite

Fair play Dave you won today, I'm just glad there was a fish out there and after spending the afternoon with tea bags over my eyes I've recovered from looking at Stevo's rod without a welding mask on!

Full marks for giving it a go, it can be grim down there when it`s blowing, nice to see a plaice from there, they don`t show very often, and congratulations to Joe for the heaviest bag lol! lol!
