PostSubject: Beat's working   Sat Aug 06, 2016 2:51 pm

I've been in sunnyrhyl all week on a family holiday having
a well earned break. I made plan's to meet up with dave, simon
and tony on the Saturday night for a few beer's with our partners
and my kids. beer party

After seeing dave on the sunday as well I was telling him about
some places left on Monday's boat trip that I had booked
for me and cole but he couldn't make it because of work  Sad

On the Monday me and cole arrived at rhyl harbour around 7:15am for
our 5hr trip with simon on board suveran  boat

To my surprise but who comes marching down the pontoon
not only kev who popped down to say hello but dave
with his rod in his hand who decided to have a cheeky day off  cheers  bye

We were soon on our way out  boat

With tope being caught the week before that's all I was fishing for  cth
but dave and cole had a great day catching mackerel , dabs , dogfish , bullhuss ,
whiting , gurnard

In the last hour of the trip we could see it was raining over a not so sunnyrhyl Shocked
But it didn't put the fish off they kept coming  cheers

It was soon time to go back in  Sad  no tope for me and the only fish
I did catch was after I nicked cole's rod of him just so I didn't blank  lol!

we all had a great day and already looking forward to my next trip
in sept  boat  boat

I've been out of Conway a few times on my mates boat,we kept left and headed towards the "Bibbing tunnels" to avoid the sandbanks, then swung right to the Orme.
We never fished the sandbanks, but I think they could be quite productive,I'll be having a go now I've got my own boat. There's a good run for the fish into the River Conway through the sandbanks.
The sandbanks out of Prestatyn towards the Dee produce some decent Bass in quite shallow water.
