Oh c'mon go

West of Aberystwyth harbour tonight and there was plenty of surf flooding in ahead of the weekend weather forecast



I deployed the mark 1 rod rest and sent North Wales lug beyond the 3rd breaker, within seconds the rod arched around and I found myself heaving several pounds of weed in.

A simpler rig cast short was no better and declaring it unfishable I moved to go and fish the inside of the breakwater.

Three hopefuls were already fishing it, one on bait and two spinning.

I opted for a size six hook and 2 inches of worm at different distances out from the wall in the hope of a pocket monster for the species hunt



The weed inside the breakwater was manageable but with not so much as a Squirtle between any of us I reckoned it was time to go

Sounded a bit of a tough session that Paul when it's like that the best place is home. Some nice pictures.
