Hope it went back out on the hook! No we're waiting till it grows this big I got some artificial prawns from China, they really look the part, they are just a little bit luminous in the body and on the feelers. They are about 3" long with a stainless steel wire and a luminous bead, can't wait to give them a try. I think they will probably work in freshwater as well, for pike, perch and chub. |

Yes I've got some of those, off EBay via a UK stockist, haven't given them a proper try yet, I imagine they'd need to be twitched rather than static, Foxons in St Asaph have smaller shrimp flies that look the part too. |

I got 10 for £7 direct,I had to wait a couple of weeks but it was miles cheaper than via a Uk stockist. I think used in the right terrain, say rocky and sandy spots near the shore they should work a treat. I know they use prawns in Cornwall quite a lot with good results. |
