The straits again

Four boats decided we would give the straits another go due to the forecast this weekend, joined by seaspirit,basshunter and seahunter we were on the water for about 11:00
Seahunter had engine trouble so used his auxiliary to get to the nearest known hole/mark and set the anchor, we stayed close by and in contact all day and weren't expecting much due to all the snow on the mountains but to our surprise we had lots and lots of fish but most of them whiting and doggies with a few pout,poorcod and Huss thrown in,two of the other boats tried a couple of other marks and had similar results, danshreckman managed a sea scorpion and seahunter John managed the only coddling of the day.
Paul wol was skipper for the day on Longranger and managed to do this on his first attempt

And that was our day out, we got lucky with the weather and lucky on the way home with the 55 traffic, happy days
