PostSubject: Jake's tips   Sun Apr 17, 2016 12:11 pm

Having turned 14 Jake is showing his age but he's fascinated by fishing and joined us in Kinmel Bay for evening High to supervise our efforts

Out at sea the weather was threatening, the bright sun disguised that it's still chilly out and with the surf grabbing the beach Jake set a good example and wrapped up warm in his life jacket

Jake coached me in my casting

Popping the camera back in my jacket I realised I was missing a good pull down bite and too late reached for the rod, Jake wasn't impressed!

Jake urged me to quickly rebait and cast to the same spot and a
couple of minutes later he was proved right as I connected with another pull down

As the tide turned Jake gave her a nod to say, " fish on" and Tina beat the blank with a Rockling

and Jake confirmed the number of beards

Then as darkness fell and the rain arrived we abandoned the Ebb and headed off for chilli, red wine and Pedigree Chum.
