PostSubject: The fish didn't feed but we did    Sun Apr 17, 2016 9:52 am

Had a day on the straits yesterday hoping for some new species for the hunt,on with me was webbo and Andy lee, basshunter Steve was out with Mike, we launched from mole y don about 8:30 and finished the ebb on a few marks but it was slow to say the least, breakfast at 9:30

That kept us going for awhile, there was lots of crab activity but just the odd whiting and dog coming up, we tried a few more marks and managed a couple of coddling and a poor cod then it was time for dinner curtesy of webbo, a 1 pot wonder of homemade curry

We only have the finest qui since on the Longranger lol it was a fantastic curry that did us for the day (thanks mate)
Oh yeah fishing,so we had the last hour or so at another mark where we had lots of whiting and dogs

When we arrived we had 5 mins of hail but after that the sun came out and it was a nice day if not just a tad cold in the wind
