Day off

I had a extra day off work today and with the weather forcast
looking good me and mark set off to mostyn.

On the way down the rain was pretty bad which had us wondering
if the forcast was right thankfully is was by the time we got
to mostyn the sun was coming up and there wasn't a ripple on the water.



The first couple of hours were slow with only the crabs enjoying are frozen lug    





Suddenly I got a proper bite which ended up being my first shore
caught dogfish.



After that it was quiet again with only weed coming in on the flood
so we called it a day.



It was a great day to be out and not working but all good things
come to an end  back to work tomorrow

and not from the most likely venue either.
