PostSubject: Blood, pike and tears    Sun Feb 21, 2016 3:32 pm

After the last few weeks blanking on the canal I finally caught
a couple cheers

I started the morning with my favourite plug a Shakespeare midi big s roach
I've caught more pike on this plug than any other  cth

Which I ended up losing under this bridge Sad Sad

So I thought i'd give a weighted shad ago it's a Berkley Powerbait Ripple Shad

And it didn't disappoint cheers
This little jack pike nailed it cheers

While I was unhooking it the little sod bit me Sad

Once the bleeding had stopped I moved on to another stretch and on me 3rd cast
I caught this little fella  cheers

That was the last pike of my 3hr session so 2 pike and 1 plug lost and a sore finger  cheers

Well done Steve that finger looked a bit tender, best hold them by the tail next time. It probably thought it was that roach plug you lost under the bridge. Very Happy cheers
