After the last few weeks blanking on the canal I finally caught
a couple cheers

I started the morning with my favourite plug a Shakespeare midi big s roach
I've caught more pike on this plug than any other  cth

Which I ended up losing under this bridge Sad Sad

So I thought i'd give a weighted shad ago it's a Berkley Powerbait Ripple Shad

And it didn't disappoint cheers
This little jack pike nailed it cheers

While I was unhooking it the little sod bit me Sad

Once the bleeding had stopped I moved on to another stretch and on me 3rd cast
I caught this little fella  cheers

That was the last pike of my 3hr session so 2 pike and 1 plug lost and a sore finger  cheers

Well done Steve that finger looked a bit tender, best hold them by the tail next time. It probably thought it was that roach plug you lost under the bridge. Very Happy cheers

I was impressed with that ripple shad and I wasn't catching
the bottom half as much as I was doing with the plug
and them 2 pike wanted it. cheers

Up the side's is a 2ft deep ledge then it drop's off
to around 4- 5 ft in the main channel I've caught
a lot of pike sat on top of this ledge. cheers

it's dead but it was returned alive it wasn't
