I've finally hit the big 50 cheers

I managed to get out and catch a thick lipped mullet this week in between the storms to take me onto 50 species for the year, it took me 2hrs to finally hook one after a shoal of tiddlers were driving me insane, they were picking,mouthing and nudging my bread bait but not taking it properly until 1 suicide tiddler fancied some breakfast!

Apparently so,I was there the day before they turned them off so got there just in the nick of time! Be interesting to see if they're still around now they're off.

Theyve shut off the reactor, therefore no warm water outflow anymore, so no reason for all the fish to congregate in the area, and little chance of picking up bonus summer species in December.

Never got around to fishing there myself but heard it could be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Great work, I don't think I have caught that many species here in 42 years, there again I rarely use smaller than 5/0 hooks

Cor Dan, it was a close run thing though, only 40 more species and I would have had you beat... lol!

And I wasn't even in the 2015 hunt...!
