Getting out

Couldn't wait to get out today after being in the house for the last few days    
the plan was to fish mostyn at low then move up to greenfield and fish high
water.




Mark picked me up at 5:00am and we arrived at mostyn for 6:00am
hoping for codling we both put pulley pennel's on loaded up with
lug/squid cocktails.  

After the hour or so pasted without a bite i changed rigs to a 2 hook flapper
which turned out to be a good move catching 3 dabs in the space of an hour.  





It was like a mill pond at one point  




As it started to flood we struggled to hold bottom so we decieded to move up to greenfield
We didn't catch anymore fish but I did loose one but didn't see what it was  




I think this was a ray egg or something like that  




Me & mark had a cracking day no cod but theirs always tomorrow

Sorry for the quality of picture's my camara is still broken so using my phone

Its a Dogfish egg case, Ray egg cases are the big flat black ones.

The egg was unopened kev so I put it back straight away
Just in case it was alive

Good report and pictures Steve what a difference in the weather from last weekend.
