Mostyn

With forty mile winds ,went to mostyn today with my old mate graham ..my plan was to go all out for cod .size 30 lug mussel and squid and frozen peeler ..

Fishing was pants up to high we had nothing ,then as the tide ebbed I had a cracking dab ,and it took my big cod bait ,with a 30 no probs .


Then me and graham where getting plenty whiting ..


We were sheltered from the wind ,but the rain was pain ..

Graham left at four o'clock , but I stuck it out to low with big frozen peeler baits for the next two hours , and not a sniff on them . I know we had a lot of fresh water down the river but ,in three sessions on the dee and no cod to show for my efforts ,is making me lose my mojo .....

Well done Tim a brave man to fish in these conditions but rewarded with a few nice fish. The Cod will come if you keep putting nice juicy bait out like that.:http://www.for:http://www.for
