Rhyl Harbour

After my success at Old Colwyn on Friday,
I thought i would try my luck at Rhyl Harbour , and my  luck held :bounce , a flounder and 3 plaice
I arrived 2 hrs before high water and it was a calm day
I met a guy called Graham who was fishing 15 yds away from me, and he never got a bite, but he did take the photo and gave me a lot of good advice as he is a regular there, he told me they don`t start biting until high tide, and he was bang on got my first one just on high water  ,this is the third time in 4 weeks I have caught here, and i think it will be a regular haunt for me.

Great report mate, which part of the harbour were you? Had a few good days last year, but first time out for me this year on Saturday, we now have a caravan so hope to be a regular and learn a lot from this site

I was at the mouth of the harbour on the beach Nick, i might see you down there on Saturday if i get chance, but let us know how you get on

I think high is 1.02pm so I will be there at around 10.30 am, looking forward to it
