Fished High

Went out for the day to the Zoo with the wife and got home about 4pm so got some frozen lug and mackerel out of the freezer and drove down to the Promenade, set up between the Arches and some rocks that stick out into the sea. It was 4.30pm by then just after high stayed till about 7pm. I only caught one small Whiting had lots of knocks but they came to nothing. Just down from me there was a chap with 3 rods out but I didn't see him catch anything. It was a lovely carm evening to be sitting watching the world go by and very easy fishing straight out the back of the car and back home in 5 minutes. :http://www.for

seriously though, Tan lan is a comfortable enough venue, but when it`s calm it fishes best over low water.

Great report mate shame the fishing wasn't better better look next time

I thought about it but on looking round I don't think she would of fitted in very well so I bought her home.

Everyone says it's better over low but by the time I got home it was high and anyway I'm just happy fishing I don't get the chance very often.
