Friday night,
Felt like lazy fishing was called for so we set up 150 yards West of The Arches Colwyn Bay to fish from the car for 2 hours up to High
We both used 3 hook flappers;
top hook just enough frozen lug to cover the Size 2 hook,
in the middle an inch or so of rag worm
and on the bottom was half a small sand eel or a small chunk of whiting.
At 40 yards Tina was often connecting with double hook ups of small whiting
At 60 to 70 yards I was finding slightly fewer but larger ones
Frozen lug was marginally more popular but the biggest took a chunk of fish
Lost count really but landed around 20 or so Whiting between us and had countless other missed connections.
There were a fair few anglers out, I'm sure they must have been catching too but frankly we were so preoccupied that we only noticed one being brought in
