continental rods

hi all can some one please help me, about continental rods 14ft up would s am not shore off what to get

I've got the original long beam at 16 foot which is rated to cast 8oz,

Worked ok for me as an overhead thumper with a fixed Spool

The extra length in theory means you could design some interesting rigs,

But be prepared to stand well back from your rod or get a neck ache.
Needs a tall tripod to take full advantage and counterbalance it.

I prefer my Tip Tornado LD but I would use the long beam in a heavy surf, the length means you can get more of the line up high and clear of the water for one thing, handy when there is weed about.

Of what I can gather a continental rod is just along 14ft+ beachcaster
a lot off anglers who use them seen pretty happy with these 3 rods
and all got decent reviews for the money
