After blanking in rhyl harbour yesterday me and cole thought we'd give
droylsden canal ago. After waiting for the rain to stop we headed off
around 2.30pm. Very Happy

So close but yet so far Sam_2310

We thought we'd give a small spoon and plug ago to see which one would catch the fish
and with in minute's off are first few cast's cole was into a small jack pike but it dropped off
has he was lifting it out on the plug Sad

We give it a good go with me losing a small jack pike to aswell has 5 lures on the bottom Sad  theirs some crap in their Sad Sad

And that was the last bit of action we had then the rain started again so we headed of home
we had a nice few hours out so happy days Very Happy

Yeah he loves them we were using it sea fishing in rhyl harbour then pike fishing on a canal
it's a nice light set up and would be ideal for lrf fishing Very Happy

Rod is a 6ft ugly stik gx2 (I have the 7ft one) I got them from go outdoors for £26.00 a bargain for a rod like this Very Happy

Reel is a Mitchell tanger of ebay for £13.49 free p+p not a bad little reel for the money  Very Happy
