Pete picked myself & chippie peter up at 5am & off we went to port dinorwic for a day out with Andy on Morgan James two we were a little early getting there so had a walk around the wall watching the hoards of small fish when all of a sudden the water boiled & they were getting attacked by a shoal of mackerel what a sight that was.Andy arrived & we were on the boat in no time & underway to the wreck he had decided we would be fishing for conger tope & spurs mainly first drop & four of the lads were struggling with eels only to be snapped but local chap Tim landed his a beauty of 35lb to 40lb a few rays huss & the usual doggies came up too slack water arrived & the eels disappeared so much for them liking slack water. We upped anchor & moved the sea bed must have been paved with thornbacks they were coming up all round the boat plus loads of dogs & the odd huss Tim the local had a cuckoo ray too which made me laugh as it clamped on to his finger we tried the wreck again but no more fish barring dogs & an odd pout all too soon it was time to head back no tope no spurs but plenty of everything else & cracking weather to boot https://2img.net/h/i929.photobucket.com/albums/ad133/tatch1/WP_20150824_004_zpsmhipxprf.jpg" />

A great day there then, I thought the boat looked different.
