Went over to Amlwch with Dave Logger today, I warned him on the way there that he would probably hear A lot of swearing out of today....and Swear I Did, hahahahaha. We checked out the Breakwater first, but I knew straight away it was going to be a Ball-Ache in the wind there. We had a walk down anyway as I knew Andy Copeland and friends were down for a few days and I wanted to meet them properly. Blowing a Hoolie on the Break, but was nice to meet the guys, but Dave and I decided to go else where and try and get out the (F*$king) wind a bit. We headed for Lynas and had the mark to ourselves, although the wind was still present (Bast%*d!!), but we set up and gave it a go anyway. Light tackle was the order of the day and despite the ever present Wind (Tw*t!!), Dave drew first blood and we started getting into a few fish. I was using my fly rod and it was hard going at times because of the weather (W**ker!!), but Dave was managing fine and caught a couple of first's too ( Shanny & Tompot), so I was made up for him. Eventually though we decided to knock it on the head after a few hours and the wind (MotherF**ker!!) was getting to be a little too much, hahahahahahaha.... (F**K OFF WIIIIIND!!!). It was an enjoyable sesh in Great company and I look forward to fishing with Dave again. Peace

Fascinating stuff and proof you don't need a full tackle box the size of a wardrobe to catch fish.

Yes mate, you pass a caravan park on the way to the lighthouse...its pretty easy to find. Parking can be an issue though.

I'm camping on Anglesey next weekend, that was a site we thought about heading to. But we're going to Moelfre now. What bait were you using ?
