PostSubject: The bass bug   Sun Jun 21, 2015 8:10 pm

Me danshreckman and andy lee decided to fish pensarn on Saturday over high to see if we could get into the bass
Firs stop fuel

There are other cafes available but used this one a few times and find it very reasonable anyway got on the beach at pensarn and it looked like rain but was still quite bright so thought I would try out my new buddy

Did a great job of keeping me out of the rain and wind

Notice the big black pig working close to the shore Sad this didn't give us much hope anyway I managed a flounder

The surf picked up and conditions were perfect but still no bass and on the last cast I managed another flounder
And that was it
Then Sunday morning up early phoned andy to see if he fancied a couple of hours at kinmml bay and we arrived just before low water and were straight on it this time no time for brekky today and the conditions were great

There were a few others out and our hopes were high as we pumped fresh lug for bait but this time it was Andys turn for the fish

Then the ignorant kite surfers started to wiz past about 50 yards out so we called it a day but it was a nice morning out in the fresh air
You know the only cure for the bass bug is winter so will be out there again soon
