PostSubject: 3 Days LRF/Light Tackle at Raven's pt.1 09/06/2015   Sat Jun 13, 2015 2:08 pm

Hit the Island with my mate Kyle today, decided to take him to Raven's as I wanted him to catch and have a good day out. We were using 2-10g rods, Micro-spin reels, 6lb braid and fished with Isomes, Fiiish Minnows and Ragworm. Hard work on the Isomes, but we had a few Pollock on the fiiish minnows and a few Ballans in the mix too. I also had a couple of small Ballans on my Pen Rod, which was very hectic, hahahahaha. Nothing better than being out on the rocks, keeping mobile and catching a few fish on a Gorgeous day like today....Awesome!!

Where did you get the pen rod and reel from and what diameter/strength line is best for it? Off to Spain next week so wouldn't mind taking one with me for a little sport.
