Cracking day!!!

Had a cracking few hours at Kinmel Bay this afternoon with Terry

The sun was cracking the flags



My rod went crack on the second cast



The sea was full of algae, the beach stank, the wind had come round Easterly so there was no surf, but there were plenty of worms to be had, and ive topped up my tan.

Never mind. Will try again in a Northerly, and when ive got a new rod.

When i was up to my waist in water. Mid chuck and it went crack!

The top 8 inches and my rig went plop about 20 yards further out.

At least it didnt birdie my reel, but lost the rig

sounds like a shopping trip to the tackle shop to me    but at least you got a tan

Unlucky fella that algae is a flippin nuisance

I know how that feels but at least you were out

That's tuff but on the bright side you have an excuse to buy a new rod.
