Big tides not ideal as we knew but we were headed off fishing somewhere on the holderness picked up crab from anglers alley in hull & off to dimmo it has fished well of late so we opted for there if it wasn't crowded if it was we"d do Easington or runnels. As we arrived a guy was coming off after fishing the night without even a bite as we stood up top chatting one guy decided sod it he had come to fish & was going down he was set up & in the water & 5 minutes later had a hound on the beach that was enough to send me & Pete rushing down got set up one rod with crab for the smoothies one for anything else fished it two hours down & all the way back up to high for one dab & one doggie. Saw a small spotted ray come out & the guy who had the hound first thing landed half a dozen more in half a dozen casts then it was time to go so no hounds for us this time but we will return to try again one unusual sight was a deer trotting along the beach before making its way back up the cliff
