| Great questions Clive!
For me it's not too much, something you can graze on and sacrifice when that huge fish takes the bait as you are eating, also something you can hold at one end and not eat that bit or it's in a wrapper, pork pie, sausage roll or a cornish pasty, a grain bar and a chocolate bar, a small flask of black coffee, bottle of water and a bottle of energy drink.
I have heard of disgruntled better halves delivering a now not quite so hot Sunday dinner to the beach to make a point! |

| Something nice & simple. Cheese n pickle sandwich, sausage roll. If it's hot, a cold drink & if it's cold a flask of Bovril. Whatever I take ends up tasting of mackerel or squid |

| I tend to just graze on choccy bars, butterkist popcorn and crisps. seem to crave gallons of pepsi when fishing though. my children both eat like horses when fishing, almost as if fishing is an excuse to gorge their little bellies full. 1st question they always ask as soon as we step onto the beach is "can i have something to eat?" we havent even unzipped the rod bag yet!! Drives me up the wall! |

| I can remember going fishing as a kid and Terry was on butty duty. Knowing i was partial to a red sauce butty, and i also like cucumber with salad cream...........
Yes, i opened my butties to find red sauce and cucumber and salad cream in all the butties. They were promptly fed to the shitehawks.
Daddy was sacked as butty maker after that!
