On 2-10 this week so with the bait left over from last sat was going to do a flyer to the strait's on monday. but got up couldnt be arsed so went back to sleep this happened mon tues & wednesday. so decided to make an effort today.
so off to muddy mostyn instead. couldnt be bothered to fish my usual spot under the big blue tank so opted for the corner instead (the short walk).

mostyn Sleepover009
got there an hour before low and fished it down with no joy. an hour after low when it started too run i had 2 good flattie bite's but couldn't connect. half an hour later the rat's start.

getting them in 2's & 4's.

small at first then as the tide got stronger they got a bit bigger.
mostyn Sleepover010

after an hour i gave up no dab's codling or flat's showing .
in all i fished 1 down and 2 up with 15+ whiting with all fish coming about an hour after low and all on lug and runnydown.

Perhaps you should try Mostyn on the way home from work Mike, always a chance of some codling at this venue. As Joe's pictures show it's not affected by Westerly winds, looks almost tranquil Very Happy Very Happy

I keep meaning to try it.
The talk of the mud puts me off a bit Smile

Seems to fish consistantly well by all accounts.

the slog left over the mud to the tank mark is offputting Mike,

firmer marks to the right if you pick your spot but don't wear your "Sunday Best! "
