Had a quick hour at the rhyl harbour on sunday picked up a pack of lug
of tony(thanks mate) but I shouldn't have bothered to crabs were out
in force. Sad Sad  no fish but the sun out and I wet a line so happy days  Very Happy

In picture 2, I think I see the ribs of the old wreck across the river. Many moons ago I used to fish off it, float fishing at low tide, heaps of small flounder plus the odd better one. Bait was small pink rag from the mud then up against the rock wall. Probably only summer time.

Thanks for that Paul, it looks just the same as it did 50 years ago. The water just in front was only a few feet deep, and shallowed slightly towards the downstream end of the ship. There were a few snags close in that I lost a few better flounder in. The pool looks as though it has not changed much, but who built that new bridge? that was not there 4 years ago.
You should not be so mean to Logger Paul, you might hurt his feelings!
