Went for a Bass session this afternoon.
Rigged up a weedless Z-Man Diezel MinnowZ
Tried a few spots until this little fellow hit.
Not the target species, but blank avoided.

Yeah, was good fun.
I squash all my barbs down, so was unhooked and released o.k.

Great idea I'm thinking of doing the same as I very rarely keep any of my fish and it's part of the pleasure to watch them swim off again Very Happy

Great fun out with a lure, being mobile and leaving the 6oz leads at home.

I never fish any other way now.
A light 8ft rod, small reel, rucksack with a few lures, cloth, scissors etc.
I cover loads of ground this way.
You can even walk up and down the beach fishing light with lures.
