Andrew Blakey & myself set off for Anglesey yet again Saturday morning no traffic trouble this time first port of call Malcolm's to get some more bait & loads more stuff we didn't really need but had to have he said a lot of people had been in & were headed to cable ty croes area but we had to go to amlwch first so had a look at the sea while we were there it was ok so we decided rather than travel over the other side we would give it a bash.It was a beautiful day to begin with although it got very windy & rough later we had been there a couple of hours & no bites at all it wasn't looking good then Andrew had a small Pollack to set the ball rolling but nothing else came for an hour or two then Blakey had a scorpion of some description beautiful little thing it was blue underneath. Then I started catching small whiting didn't matter what went on for bait I caught whitings on it the others also had one or two we had conger rods out too but had nothing on them it was a little snaggy as well I managed to lose loads of gear good job I had a spare spool with me even tried the tiny lrf lures & tiny hooks & bait but to no avail enjoyed the day but boy did it come rough & cold about tea time so after an enjoyable if slow day we left about 8.30 ready for my next session already. on another note some of the lads went out with Steve on supreme today & all they had all day was a few pins & teabag dabs so fishings not too good on the boats either at the moment by the looks of things its that time of year again
