Not fished it for a few years but have fished there off the shore and boat.

There is a ledge that runs along the length of the venue, 80 - 100 yards out at low water. If you can cast over it, you will get a bite every chuck but struggle to reel in over it! Cast inside it and its very quiet Mad

Plenty of dogfish, huss wrasse and codling there. Lots of minis and there are some decent conger too. Very occasional bream, bass and trigger fish but these are caught more towards Plas Newydd in the hole.

You could try more towards the bridge at Nelsons monument for huss, codling bass and conger as the ground isnt as snaggy.

Kev has said it all, but I believe the lane down to the venue is closed to traffic, so parking could be a problem.

Not sure about the lane. There was a car or 2 down there last time we fished on the boat but heard there were parking restrictions due to people camping overnight and people in the cottages whinging???
