Whitby west Sunday 15th February

Myself Andrew & Blakey Set off Sunday night for another session on Whitby west we were in the water & fishing for 10pm there were lads walking off as we got there they had been down robin hoods bay fishing a match & it was very slow so they had come back to the pier to finish off & said that was very slow too not what we wanted to hear . There was a nice swell & it was still building ideal you'd have thought but very few fish came out some lads on the end had been there from tea time & they were struggling with a cod & a couple of whitings between them we fished on till 4am trying allsorts of baits worm squid mussel prawn cart peeler in sizes small to fist sized donkey choker Blakey managed a codling & a dab myself & Andrew blanked

Nice report mate,shame the fishing wasn't better for you
